Analysis of my school magazine

There is a visible and related Masthead at the top of the magazine cover page with a line beneath it which also relates to the theme of the magazine, it is in capitals which draws attention as it the most important part of the magazine.

The magazine cover also has a visible bar code in the bottom right-hand corner next to the issue number, date of release and finally the price which is in a bigger font so that it is more noticeable.

There is also a visible colour scheme of blues and greens on the cover which is consistent on the cover and is good for the young audience that would be found in a school.

The cover page shows a picture of a student working hard which links to the first story of hard work with-in the sixth-form, it also shows pictures of important or interesting themes with-in the school such as the new fence and the science pets, this also has tag-lines for each saying about what is included inside the magazine.

There is a consistent font type on the cover page however some of the sets of text are larger to draw attention to them on the page as they may be the most important parts of text.
