Audience Research- Part 1- pop magazine (older audience)

Billboard magazine-
The audience of this magazine are much more likely to be an older person, this can be seen because it is a relatively expensive magazine, priced at £5.50 it is out of the price range of a younger person such as a teenager. However the music is still modern and from the pop Genre, this shows that is aimed at fans of music from the Charts, this may be why they have Kesha on the front as she is a Pop artist, however, the Billboard music awards are aimed at all music genres and the categories are spread over genres from Pop to Rock. This means that they may have a broader audience than they would have if it was just pop music as it could be purchased by more people.
