Research of content pages- part 3- Rock magazine

Kerrang content page analysis-
-The page has a clear white, black and yellow colour scheme with the text and back ground in these colours, these colours are not specific to a certain gender and that means that this magazine is aimed at a wider audience that a teen girls pop magazine.
-The headers and title are in yellow on a black background, this makes it stand out and makes them easier to read. They bits of text are also in a bigger, bolder font than the other text which makes them stand out even more as important information on the page.
-There is one big image of an artist along with a few small images scattered around the page, these images include pictures of other pages inside the magazine and of old magazine front covers along with other artists.
-The text which explains the title or header is in a smaller plain back font which is easy to read though it is a bit too small for my liking, this is also joined by a page number in red which means it is easy to find the page numbers without reading text you don't need.
-The website and phone number are in the bottom corner of the page which makes it visible but out of the way of the important text, however I once more think it takes up too much space for an advertisement of the magazine, like in NME magazine.
