double page spread analysis: group work

All of the magazines have a visible colour scheme that fits well with the theme of the magazines, they are all rock magazines and use a lot of red, black and grey on the double page spread.

The theme of the pages normally fit the whole magazines theme, so the distorted effect on the first magazine fits well with the distorted image of rock artists.
They all have a bold title and often have a quote from the band also in a bold font so it is easy to see and it draws you in so that you read the whole page.
They all use original images of the artists in question and are often posed for by said artists, there are also images of the crowd at a concert to show the type of fans they have. A lot of the posed images are of the artist performing at a concert or festival.
